Weather and Accommodation

The weather in the month of December is chilly and the temperature remains between 6°C to 20°C. Participants may come with proper winter clothes to make the stay comfortable. The delegates will be accommodated in the campus guest houses as per the university rates on first come first served basis by registration. Besides, good hotels with tariff ranging from 2500 to 5000 per day are available and can be booked in advance with prior notice and payment.

Reaching the ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute (ICAR-IVRI), Bareilly is convenient by road, rail, and air. The city is well-connected to major cities in India.

By Road:

Bareilly is well connected via National Highways, with regular bus services from major cities like Delhi (250 km) and Lucknow (250 km). Private taxis and rideshares are also readily available.

By Train:

Bareilly Junction is a major railway station on the Northern Railway route, located about 8 km from ICAR-IVRI, with frequent trains from cities across India.

By Air:

The nearest airport Bareilly Airport, located about 6 km from ICAR-IVRI, offering domestic flights to Bangalore and Mumbai on alternate days. Taxis and Cabs are available for onward travel to ICAR-IVRI.
